CAF

The CAF (Corporate Address File) is an address matching system used by many Guernsey and Jersey companies for fast retrieval of address data. The CAF guarantees the most recent, up-to-date, and accurate addresses as a result of our AVU (Address Validation Unit) system.

The Matching System

CAF allows you to provide portions of an address, whether it is the house name, or post code, and the CAF will return an appropriate set of results based on your search criteria. Its support for metaphones allows matching of addresses by their pronunciation instead which is particularly suitable for someone whom may not know the exact spelling of an address.

Address Submission

The CAF also allows for addresses to be submitted to the AVU (Address Validation Unit) for either new proposals, or updates to existing addresses.
