Digimap currently employ 8 people including 2 in our Jersey office. We also employ part time and bureau staff to assist with specific projects.

Colin Le Conte ACIB - Managing Director

Colin set up Digimap Ltd in 1998 as a specialist Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Mapping company. He has a wide range of experience in Customer solutions and is an experienced consultant, programmer and solutions provider. A former Bank Manager for a leading International Bank, Colin was selected to design and develop leading computer systems for the UIM Class 1 Powerboat Championships and held this top world position over the last 12 years. Colin was the founder of Digimap Ltd and has now specialised in GIS solutions for over 10 years and has won international awards for his and his company's work.

Dave Killan - Training and Support Director

Dave has been with Digimap since 1999 and is responsible for Training and Support of the systems. He also provides demonstrations of the products and assists with Bureau work as well as consultancy and advice on the GIS systems. Dave is the other shareholder of the company.

John Surcombe - Systems Developer

John joined Digimap having previously worked at the Guernsey Social Security Authority (GSSA) as a software developer. Before that he studied Computer Science at St John's College, Cambridge. Since working at Digimap, John has successfully undertaken major projects to develop bespoke systems in VB.NET with SQL server back-ends, from requirements analysis through design, development, deployment, training, support, documentation and ongoing maintenance. His areas of particular personal interest also include Java, ORM frameworks, web application frameworks, web content management, security engineering, cryptography, data compression, graph optimization algorithms and network protocol design.

Kieran Senior - Software Programmer

Peter Carré - Software Programmer

Peter has been with Digimap since 2000 and was the lead programmer for the Guernsey Post system. Peter primarily develops mapping based applications but is also responsible for the Bureau work carried out by Digimap on behalf of its customers. No job is too big or too small! Peter also looks after the customisation of the ArcGIS range of products.

Charles David

Charles is primarily involved with the administrative side of Digimap. This includes the accounts and organising travel to and from the island.
